Insurance and Payment Options

Cost and Financial options

The cost of orthodontic treatment depends on the severity of the patient's orthodontic problem. You will be able to discuss fees and the available payment options before treatment begins.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Debit Cards are accepted. In-Office and outside financing options are also available for your convenience.  In addition, we accept a wide variety of orthodontic/dental insurance plans and will gladly do a no-fee electronic processing for you.

We offer very competitive, cost effective treatment fees and have no-fee consultations. If you decide that we provide the quality treatment and friendly atmosphere you desire for yourself and/or your child, we can work out a creative, no-interest financing plan to fit your budget.  These in-office payment plans help spread the cost over the duration of treatment making orthodontic care surprisingly affordable. Our goal is to make orthodontic treatment more affordable and financially comfortable for our all of our patients and their families.

We work hard to make orthodontic care affordable and at the same time maintain the highest level of quality and service.  To that effort, the following is our established financial policy:

  • In most cases if full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount. (If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.)
  • We offer a discount for multiple family members
  • To fit your individual needs and budget, financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of months to help spread the cost over the duration of treatment (flexible payment plans)
  • For your convenience, we accept payment by VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, DEBIT CARDS
  • CareCredit patient financing (see below)
  • In cases of serious delinquency, treatment will be discontinued, although we will make every effort to accommodate patients with temporary difficulties.

Insurance

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review and verify your insurance to determine the orthodontic coverage you may have available and the appropriate course of action.  Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith, but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts.  Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. Once treatment has started, we will gladly process and file your claims for orthodontic treatment.  As a convenience to you, we also will accept benefit payments directly from your insurance provider.  Our Insurance Coordinator is here to help you throughout your treatment time so you receive your full orthodontic benefit.  We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.  When necessary, we fight for you, so you don't have to!

To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire.

Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child.  If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.

CareCredit Patient Financing

Aside from in-office financing plans, we also offer an excellent outside patient financing option - CareCredit patient financing. CareCredit makes it possible, by providing low monthly payments, to finance the orthodontic treatment for you or your child.  Affordable payments, an easy online process, and no hidden fees - CareCredit is not just another credit card, it is exclusive for healthcare services and just makes sense.  It is the patient financing option of choice that we would recommend to our own friends and family.
